The Peoria Academy of Dance and Art is an innovative fine arts school nestled in the heart of Peoria’s historic warehouse district. Our dedicated instructors provide the highest quality arts instruction, fostering each student’s journey with the transformative experience of creativity.

We offer a wide array of programs for all ages and skill levels, from beginners to advanced students. Our diverse course offerings include:

• Dance: Little Dancer Story Hour, intermediate and advanced ballet technique, partnering class, pointe and pre-pointe work, adult and teen ballet, character dance, performance opportunities, and community collaborations. (Hip Hop, Contemporary, and Jazz coming soon!)

• Visual Arts: Process art, clay classes, nature art, Little Artist Story Hour, watercolor, drawing, 2-D Skill-Building Class, beginning and intermediate sewing classes, special workshops in a variety of mediums and opportunities for students to show their work.

• Performance: Voice lessons, theatre, public speaking, logic and debate skills, improv and performance opportunities.

• Wellness: Yoga, and mindful art sessions.

We believe art and movement should be integrated into daily life, not reserved as an occasional activity. Our flexible pricing system and class options, including long-term skill-building courses, drop-in classes, and single-event workshops, make it easy to explore a variety of classes on a schedule that works for you.
