Beginning Machine Sewing Classes
Ready to start your sewing journey? Whether you’re 5 or 95, our Beginning Machine Sewing classes are the perfect place to dive in!We know that a sewing machine can look a little intimidating at first, so we’ve designed this class specifically for people who have never even touched one before, as well as those with limited experience who want to build more confidence. We’ll take it slow and steady, guiding you through the basics in a relaxed, friendly environment.
What to expect:
Two Fun Sessions: We meet for 90 minutes once a week for two weeks.
Zero Stress: You don’t need to bring a thing! All fabric and tools are included.
Hands-on Learning: We’ll show you how to set up your machine, cut out a pattern, and sew your very own simple tote bag from scratch.
By the end of the second class, you’ll walk away with a finished bag and the confidence to start your next project at home.

Intermediate Machine Sewing Classes
Ready to take your sewing to the next level? Our Intermediate Machine Sewing class is designed for anyone who knows the basics but wants to feel more "at home" behind the machine. Whether you've just finished our beginner course or you're dusting off a machine you haven't used in years, we’d love to have you!
This is a great chance to get to know your own machine better—if you have one, feel free to bring it along so we can help you master its specific quirks. If not, don't worry! You’re more than welcome to use one of ours.
What we’ll be doing:
Week 1: We’ll spend some time getting comfortable with the machines, practicing different stitches, and learning how to fix those pesky common issues (like jammed thread!) before they start.
Weeks 2-4: We’ll get creative! We'll start with a simple tote bag to get into the groove, and then move on to the "big event": learning how to sew a zipper into a cute pouch.

Four Fun Sessions: We meet for 90 minutes once a week for four weeks.
Stress-Free: We provide all the fabric and tools you need. However, if you have a special fabric at home you’ve been dying to use, feel free to bring it in!
Take-Home Treats: By the time we're done, you’ll have two handmade bags to show off and the skills to tackle even more projects on your own.
Come hang out with us, pick up some new skills, and leave with something you’re proud of. We can't wait to see what you make!
