Winter Break Dance and Art Camps
Peoria Academy of Dance and Art will be holding two Winter Break Camps. This is our 3rd Annual Winter Break Art Camp (Previously called Wheel Art Pottery/Art with Kyla Winter Break Camp) and our 1st Winter Break Dance Camp! Read more details below on each camp and register to reserve a spot today!
Winter Break Art Camp
Join the Peoria Academy of Dance and Art for an exciting Winter Break Art Camp at Wheel Art Pottery Studios! (Previously called Art with Kyla/Wheel Art Winter Break Camp)
This is our third year offering Winter Break Art Camp! Students receive expert art instruction in a relaxed and supportive environment, exploring various mediums and techniques, making art to celebrate the wintery season.
Ages Welcome: 5–17 years old (all experience levels)
Time: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm daily
Location: Wheel Art Pottery Studios-Located in The Mill in Peoria’s Historic Warehouse District (detailed directions provided upon registration)

Cost:
$60 per day
$200 for all four days (a $40 savings)
What to Expect:
Each day of the camp offers a dynamic schedule of creative exploration:
Ceramic Arts: Each day we will be either throwing on the pottery wheels or hand building with clay, covering the basics of ceramic art and receiving demonstrations of fun seasonal projects.
Diverse Art Forms: In addition to pottery, each day introduces another unique art form, such as drawing, painting, fiber arts, or repurposed art projects.
Expert Guidance: All students, especially those with previous camp experience, are encouraged to explore their own creative paths within the mediums, supported by expert guidance from professional artists.
Lunch
Students should bring their own lunch. We will enjoy an hour of eating and fellowship, shared with students participating in our Winter Break Dance Camp during the lunch hour.
Dance Camp Bonus:
This year we are also offering an add-on of an additional hour (3:00-4:00 pm) for $8.00/participant. During that hour art students may join our students of the Winter Break Dance Camp (located in the studio next to Wheel Art) with our world class dance instructors for a hour of music and movement designed to be accessible for all skill levels. (Suitable for ages 5-17)
Winter Break Dance Camp
Get ready elevate your skills at the Peoria Academy of Dance and Art's Dance Camp. This is an intensive experience designed to inspire dancers of all levels.
Whether your child is taking their very first steps into the world of dance or they're a seasoned performer looking to refine their craft, this intensive is the perfect place to be. We are excited to welcome dancers from all studios and all experience levels for this one-of-a-kind opportunity.
