Modern Dance Class

Mondays from 4:00-5:00

Ages 8-Adult

Pre-registration required

Using the techniques of Martha Graham and others, dancers will improve strength, flexibility, balance and coordination through the use of spinal articulation, contractions, releases and expressive and organic movement.

Teen and Adult Ballet Class

Mondays from 5:30-7:00 pm

Intermediate/Advanced youth and adults of all levels

Pre-registration required

This class is a comprehensive ballet technique class suitable for intermediate and advanced students and adults with any level of experience.

Daytime Ballet Class

Tuesdays from 12:00-1:30 pm

Ages 7 and Up-All Levels Welcome

Work with Michelle Holmes-Bello of USA Ballet to learn ballet technique. this multi-level ballet class is suitable for all levels and dancers are schooled on the fundamentals with individual attention for each dancer and combinations are offered to perfectly suit their specific dance journey.

Daytime Pointe and Pre-Pointe Class

Tuesdays from 1:30-2:30 pm

Ages 7 and Up-All Levels Welcome

Mrs Bello will school dancers on their pointe work with special exercises and methods to strengthen those looking to prepare for the transition to pointe shoes.  

Daytime Character Class

Tuesdays from 2:30-3:00 pm

Work with Michelle Holmes-Bello of USA Ballet to discover the magic of character dancing. A character dance class teaches stylized versions of folk and national dances from various cultures, like Hungarian, Polish, and Spanish styles. This integral ballet training enhances expressiveness, musicality, and storytelling, offering a unique opportunity for cultural immersion, technical foundations, and rhythm and dynamics.  

Little Dancer Story Hour

Wednesdays from 10:00-11:00 as scheduled:see offerings below.

All ages welcome-Recommended age 2-7 years old

Enjoy a magical hour with your little dancer. Listen to a story, partake in a mini dance class and learn a brand new dance. Each week brings new adventures as we dance our way through stories of classical ballets, diverse dance styles and learn about inspirational dancers from the past and present.

November 12th~Who was Misty Copeland? Learn about this special ballerina who paved the way for a more diverse dance world and learn some of her most iconic moves.

Pointe and Pre-Pointe Class

Sundays from 3:00-3:30 pm

For dancers in pointe shoes or those wishing to strengthen to prepare for pointe shoes-Intermediate and advanced ballet students

Ages 7 and up

Pre-registration required

Miss Joan will school students on their pointe work and offer exercises for those looking for strengthening as they prepare for the transition to pointe shoes.

Miss Joan’s ballet technique class will stretch your skills with an emphasis on proper foundations as students learn lots of new movements.

Pax de Duex-Partnering Class

Sundays from 4:30-5:45 pm

Suitable for intermediate and advanced ballet students

Pre-registration required

Mr Andrew will teach partnering techniques and preparatory exercises in this ballet partnering class with a focus on structure and teamwork along with an emphasis on artistry as students progress.
