Build confidence one step at a time! Our Speech and Debate Club is the perfect skill-builder for homeschoolers, students, and lifelong learners of all ages. This low-pressure club focuses on gradual progress, turning stage fright into stage presence through fun, interactive exercises. Want the ultimate superpower of clear thinking and confident communication? Through engaging activities, students will learn to spot logical fallacies in everyday arguments, analyze and verify information sources like a pro, and master the art of supporting their points with solid evidence. We’ll cover everything from skillful source-checking to presenting an argument calmly and effectively, preparing them for formal debate settings, classroom discussions, or even just navigating tricky family conversations. Gain the tools to speak your mind with skill and confidence! Students will also have optional performance and competition opportunities.
